Who we are

We are Boxflow AB and are responsible for the processing of personal data collected through our website.

Comments on the report

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the information displayed in the comment form, as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user agent. This is used to prevent spam and to moderate comments.

An anonymised string (hash) from your email address can be sent to the service Gravatar to determine if you have a profile there. Gravatar's privacy policy can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/

. Once the comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly displayed along with the comment.

Media

If you upload images, you should avoid images with GPS data in the EXIF information. Otherwise, visitors may get positioning information from images on the website.

Cookies

We use cookies in the following ways:

When you comment, your name, email and website address are stored in cookies for up to one year to facilitate future comments.
When logging in, temporary cookies are saved for functions and layout selection. Login cookies are valid for 2 days, layout choices for 1 year, and if you choose “Remember me” the login is valid for 2 weeks.
If you edit or publish articles, a cookie is created that records the post ID for 24 hours.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images). This embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website directly and may collect data, use cookies and track interaction.

Security and safety

We use Wordfence and Loopia for security and monitoring. IP addresses and logs may be temporarily stored to protect the website. No personal information is shared with third parties.

Forms (Forminator)

When visitors submit forms via Forminator we can collect:

IP address (for spam protection)
E-mail address and other fields filled in by the user

Forminator forms can be integrated with third-party services:

Google reCAPTCHA / hCaptcha - protection against spam
Akismet - spam protection
Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Aweber, Campaign Monitor - newsletters and contact lists
Google Drive, Trello, Slack - integrations

We retain submitted data for up to 30 days and anonymise IP addresses where possible.

How long we keep your data

Comments and metadata are saved until manually deleted
User profiles are saved as long as the user account exists
Forms, polls and quizzes data is saved for 30 days

Legal obligation - when we need to keep certain information for legal requirements
